PREAMBLE
The Lord Jesus is the head of His church. Therefore, the church must obey Him in all things. In I Corinthians 14, Jesus directs the church through the Apostle Paul by saying, “…God is not a God of disorder, but of peace,” and, “…everything should be done in a fitting and orderly way.” This document establishes the procedures for Christ Covenant Church (CCC) to conduct itself in fitting, orderly, and (as much as possible) peaceful ways in the practice of its worship and government. The procedures are intended to guide the church to obey its Lord and are derived from Scripture with some practical elements added for the sake of order.
